1.1KW-ELECTRIC MOTOR WITH BRAKE MSH 80 3-4_1390RPM 3PHASE FEET-B3
Description:
Electric motors with brakes are controlled via a rectifier from the motor terminals. Braking electric motors are the result of a combination of asynchronous three-phase motors and electromagnetic direct current brake units. The brake is equipped with a trigger lever that allows the electric motor to rotate or brake. Electric motors offer a quick braking time (the connection and disconnection time is from 5 to 80 milliseconds). Therefore, they are suitable for various industries, such as: braking loads or torque on the drive shaft, braking rotating masses, to reduce downtime, braking to increase adjustment accuracy, braking machine parts, in accordance with safe usage rules.
An electric motor is a machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The most common electric motors we encounter today – almost everywhere are ASYNCHRONOUS ELECTRIC MOTORS. Electric motors are divided into several groups based on construction, use, mounting method, and more. The electric motors in our offer have a modular housing, which means that depending on the method and work requirements, we can choose an electric motor from an ALU housing (lower power) or cast iron (higher power). When selecting electric motors, we can choose from various flanges needed for installation, so-called flanges B3, B5, B14. The mounting feet are also modular, meaning they can be removed if not needed. Electric motors are indispensable elements increasingly in agriculture, industry, and are the drive for various machines, devices, aggregates, and more.
Step 1, how to choose the appropriate electric motor from all the variants offered on the market is to first determine whether we need single-phase electric motors (230V) or three-phase electric motors (400V). If we are interested in wood cutting, we choose electric motors for circular saws, but we must be careful between single-phase electric motors for circular saws (230V) and three-phase electric motors for circular saws (400V).
As we know, the choice of electric motors depends on the rated voltage and mounting. We know the following designs:
- Single-phase electric motors with flange B3 are classic electric motors with feet, with a voltage of 230V.
- Three-phase electric motors with flange B3 are classic electric motors with feet, with a voltage of 400V.
- Single-phase electric motors with flange B14 differ in that they have threads for fastening on the housing flange.
- Three-phase electric motors with flange B14 differ in that they have threads for fastening on the housing flange.
- Single-phase electric motors with flange B5, which differ from the previous ones in that it is larger than both and has threads for fastening.
- Three-phase electric motors with flange B5, which differ from the previous ones in that it is larger than both and has threads for fastening. Electric motors with flange B5 can be combined with various gearboxes such as PMRV gearboxes or ERC gearboxes with output shafts.
- Electric motors for circular saws can also be chosen between single-phase 230V or three-phase 400V.
Step 2 we choose between poles of the motor. Single-phase electric motors offer us two-pole or four-pole designs. 2P usually have ~ 2800 rpm, while 4P have ~ 1400 rpm.
Three-phase electric motors offer us 2P ~ 2800 rpm, 4P ~ 1400 rpm, or 6P ~ 900 rpm.
Step 3 we select the desired power of the electric motor, which ranges in our offer from 0.18 kW to 315 kW.
Our electric motors (three-phase) can be regulated with a frequency converter, which are in our offer. A frequency converter is a device used to regulate the speed of asynchronous electric motors where there is a need to change speed.
In the offer, you can choose from various pulleys for the electric motor and elements for connecting electric motors.
